I had a magical day at the spoon carving workshop with my dad. It was the perfect present for a man who is notoriously hard to buy gifts for and provided a rare opportunity for us to do an activity together which we both really enjoyed. The workshop was led in such a friendly and inclusive way that we both quickly felt at ease. Instructions were always clear and given in manageable, stepwise chunks, with plenty of gentle encouragement and support along the way, especially at those ‘I can’t seem to get this bit right’ moments. A really lovely space, run by lovely people. I hope I’ll be back again soon.
