What happens at this event?

This half-day workshop is a perfect introduction for children and adults to learn how to use whittling knives safely and effectively. It is ideal for families who want to practise woodcraft at home, on camping trips or out in the woods!

Together as a pair, each parent/adult and child will use traditional green woodworking tools to whittle and decorate your very own marshmallow-toasting forks and carve your very own vintage spinning top - a delight for anyone aged 8 to 80…

All tools and materials will be provided, as well as drinks and refreshments. Each ticket is for one adult and one child.

Suitable for children aged 8+.

(Children under 8 who have previous woodworking experience will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly).
